Westbound Ohio 63 in Monroe has been temporarily closed following a tragic incident involving a motorcycle and a vehicle. The Ohio State Highway Patrol reported that a fatal crash occurred between Salzman Road and Clark Boulevard at 4:38 a.m. on Monday.
Details of the Crash
According to state troopers at the scene, the driver of the vehicle failed to give way to a 2024 Kawasaki motorcycle that had the right-of-way. The driver turned in front of the motorcycle in order to access the Kroger Fulfillment Center, resulting in a collision between the two vehicles.
Tragically, the operator of the motorcycle, identified as 30-year-old Ronald Jordan Imhoff from Middletown, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Butler County Coroner’s Office.
Recent Fatal Crashes in Butler County
This incident marks the fourth fatal crash in Butler County within just three days. Additionally, it is the second fatal crash involving a motorcycle, as reported by the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.
