Social Media Influencer with Over 1.3 Million Followers Goes Missing

A popular social media influencer, known as Mayuri Chaitanya Modak-Pawar, has been reported missing since June 15. The 26-year-old from Rasta Peth left behind a suicide note before disappearing from her home, leaving her family and followers in distress. Vishrambag Police Station has launched an active search operation to locate her.

Mayuri Pawar, who goes by the name ‘Maau’ on social media platforms, rose to fame on TikTok with millions of followers. However, following the ban on TikTok by the Indian government, she transitioned to Instagram, where she currently boasts a substantial following of 1.3 million individuals. In addition to her social media presence, she also runs a successful clothing business under the name ‘Durga Group’.

The disappearance of Mayuri occurred on the evening of June 15 at approximately 7 PM, and she has not been seen or heard from since. Concerned for her well-being, her uncle, Mangal Dilip Pawar, aged 40, reported her absence to the authorities at Vishrambag Police Station. Assistant Inspector Santosh More is leading the investigation into her disappearance.
