A 14-year-old girl from Gwinnett County, Georgia, had a terrifying experience while out on a morning run with her cross-country team. The girl reported that a man dressed in all black suddenly emerged from the woods and attempted to grab her.

According to Channel 2′s Gwinnett County Bureau Chief, Matt Johnson, the alarming incident took place on Monday morning at around 8:30 a.m. at Peachtree Ridge Park.

The young girl informed the police that the man who lunged at her was carrying a guitar case. Fortunately, she and the other teens managed to escape unharmed.

Law enforcement officers conducted a thorough search for the suspect but have yet to locate him.
