NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Tragedy struck early Sunday morning in Norfolk as a man lost his life in a shooting incident at a local McDonald’s. The Norfolk Police Department swiftly responded to the scene and arrested a woman in connection with the crime.
Investigation Details
The shooting took place at the McDonald’s located in the 7900 block of Shore Drive at approximately 5 a.m. The victim, identified as 24-year-old Kimaun T. Ewell, was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries but, unfortunately, succumbed to his wounds.
Suspect Arrested
Authorities arrested 32-year-old Kiana T. Ewell in connection with the shooting. She has been charged with second-degree murder and the use of a firearm. Kiana is currently being held without bond as the investigation continues.
