Accident – Death – Obituary News :

A 24-year-old man, Jontaye Acoray Tassian, was arrested on Sunday for second-degree murder in a fatal shooting that took place at a Church’s Texas Chicken restaurant in Aurora, Colorado.

The arrest was made by the Aurora Police Department, following an incident that occurred two days prior at the Church’s Texas Chicken located at 11900 E. Colfax Ave.

Altercation Leads to Fatal Shooting

According to the Aurora police, the shooting took place around 4:45 p.m. on Friday, stemming from an altercation between a man and a couple who were not acquainted with each other.

During the altercation, Tassian, one of the men involved, reportedly pulled out a gun and shot the other man before fleeing the scene with the woman accompanying him.

Victim Succumbs to Injuries

The shooting victim was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment of his injuries, but unfortunately, he succumbed to them and passed away. The victim has not been publicly identified at this time.

Legal Proceedings

Tassian is currently in police custody, with a bail set at £50,000 according to court records. A court date for his case has not yet been scheduled.
