Chief Investigator Harry Campbell from the coroner’s office disclosed that the young child, identified as Jamier Hudson, was found unresponsive in the pool shortly before 1 p.m. on Sunday. Despite efforts to save him, Jamier was rushed to Aultman Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased at 1:28 p.m.
The incident took place at a residence located in the 600 block of Fries St SE in Massillon, sending shockwaves through the local community.
