The two teenagers who were fatally shot in the 800 block of West Manitoba Street have been identified as 16-year-old Diego Herrera-Mejia and 15-year-old Isaac Rodriguez, according to the Milwaukee County Coroner’s Office. Sadly, Rodriguez was pronounced dead at the scene, while Herrara-Meja passed away at a hospital. Additionally, a 14-year-old boy sustained non-life-threatening injuries during the shooting incident.

A heartbreaking incident occurred at McGovern Park, where a four-year-old boy named Marquell Roby-Holmes was struck and killed by a car near the 5400 block of North 51st Boulevard on Milwaukee’s north side. It was initially reported that Roby-Holmes was 2 years old, but his correct age has since been confirmed.
Vehicle-Related Deaths in Milwaukee County
Preliminary data from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation has revealed that there have been 35 vehicle-related deaths in Milwaukee County so far this year, making it the highest in the state.
