The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of Dayhan Vinet, aged 32, on Friday, June 14, in connection with the death of Yalexander Felipe, aged 47. Vinet is facing multiple charges, including first-degree murder with a weapon, robbery of a firearm or weapon, dealing in stolen property, and providing false information on a pawnbroker form.
Discovery of the Body
The investigation was launched after law enforcement received a distress call on June 4 reporting the discovery of a body in the vicinity of East Chelsea Street and Rachel Falls Drive. Upon arrival, authorities identified the victim as Felipe, who had sustained severe upper-body trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene.
