Authorities in Prince George’s County, Maryland, are currently investigating a tragic incident that occurred at a football event over the weekend, resulting in a fatal shooting.
The incident took place on Saturday, June 15, at Potomac High School on Boydell Avenue. Police were alerted to the shooting at approximately 11:20 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers discovered 33-year-old Christopher Mozee in the bleachers, suffering from gunshot wounds. Tragically, Mozee was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. Additionally, a five-year-old child sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound in the incident.
According to authorities, the shooting appears to have stemmed from a dispute among spectators at the football event. Police are actively pursuing leads to apprehend the suspect(s) responsible for this senseless act of violence.
