Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered the victim, identified as 27-year-old Amber Reynolds, who had sustained a gunshot wound. Tragically, Reynolds had succumbed to her injuries by the time authorities found her.

An individual of interest has been identified in connection with the shooting, and detectives are working diligently to piece together the events that led to this tragic incident. In a surprising turn of events, deputies from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office later discovered the suspect deceased, with authorities treating the death as a suicide.
