The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office has officially identified the victim of a fatal rollover crash that occurred late Saturday night in San Antonio.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the incident at approximately 11:45 p.m. near the intersection of Interstate 10 westbound and Camp Bullis Road.
According to reports from the San Antonio Police Department, a white 2024 BMW was travelling along the access road in the second lane when the driver swerved to avoid construction cones. Unfortunately, this manoeuvre caused the vehicle to veer off the road and into the grassy median, ultimately leading to a rollover.
Tragically, a passenger seated in the back of the BMW was ejected from the vehicle during the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene. The deceased has been identified as 65-year-old Valeriy Teodossiev by the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Despite the severity of the incident, no other injuries were reported as a result of the crash.
The San Antonio Police Department is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the rollover crash to determine the exact cause of the tragic event.
