Hyderabad Woman Arrested for Eloping with Minor Boy

A 27-year-old woman named Radha has been arrested by Siddipet police for eloping with a 16-year-old minor boy with intentions to marry him. Radha, who resides in Hanuman Nagar with her husband and two children, was taken into custody following a missing person complaint filed by the boy’s family in January.

The boy’s family, who were also landlords to Radha, grew suspicious of her involvement in the disappearance. Subsequent investigations revealed that the duo had been living together in Chennai before returning to Siddipet. The boy confessed to living with Radha in a rented apartment in Chennai when questioned by the police.

Earlier this month, Radha allegedly coerced the boy into stealing 30 tolas of silver, three tolas of gold, and Rs 40,000 in cash before fleeing to Chennai. The police have registered a case against Radha under charges of rape and violations of the POCSO Act.
