Todaro, who was Giles’ girlfriend following Nancy’s disappearance, also resided in the same home and went missing in December 2020.

District Attorney Greg Neugebauer stated that charges related to Todaro’s death are expected to be filed in the near future. Giles’ defense attorney, Timothy Burns, refrained from commenting on the discovery of the remains prior to their identification. During the trial for Nancy Giles’ death, Burns had highlighted his client’s reported mental health struggles and expressed disappointment in the verdict, indicating that the defense would explore further legal options. Brian Giles, maintaining his innocence, was escorted from the courtroom following the trial.

Neugebauer elaborated on the search of the residence, revealing that specific information led authorities to the exact location of Todaro’s remains.
