A devastating fire engulfed a two-storey house on Hoàng Hoa Thám Street in Đa Mai Ward, the northern city of Bắc Giang, in the early hours of this morning. The blaze resulted in the tragic loss of three lives.
The victims have been identified as 43-year-old Đào Thị H., 47-year-old Nguyễn Văn N., and an eight-year-old child named Lương Anh N.
Reports indicate that the fire caused extensive damage to the first floor of the property, leaving most of their possessions in ruins.
Authorities from the Bắc Giang Police Department have determined that the fire originated from the area where an electric bike was parked. The flames quickly spread, generating a significant amount of toxic smoke that engulfed the premises.
