LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. — A tragic incident unfolded in Lawrenceville as the Police Department detectives arrested a suspect in connection with the killing of a 17-year-old boy at a home on Memorial Court.

The authorities were alerted to the scene on Memorial Court at around 10 p.m. on Thursday, where they discovered the teenager with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite their efforts to provide aid and gather information from the victim, he succumbed to his injuries after being transported to a hospital.

Upon processing the crime scene, the detectives uncovered crucial evidence and interviewed potential witnesses to piece together the events leading to the tragic incident.

It was revealed that the suspect, identified as Uriah Sincere Hall, 19, had a known association with the victim’s girlfriend. A firearm believed to have been used in the shooting was recovered at the scene.

Following an intensive investigation, Hall was apprehended and subsequently charged with aggravated assault, felony murder, and possession of a firearm during the commission of certain crimes.

The Police Department emphasized that the case remains an active investigation, with the victim’s identity withheld pending notification of next of kin.
