WABASH, Ind (WANE) — A devastating incident occurred in the early hours of Friday morning in Wabash, resulting in the loss of one life. Marcus Beher, a 51-year-old resident of Huntington, tragically collided with a tree head-on, leading to his untimely death.
Shortly after 1:30 a.m. on Friday, emergency services were alerted to a serious crash near 8310 S 300 W in Wabash. The Wabash County Sheriff’s Department swiftly responded to the scene to investigate the tragic incident.
Initial investigations revealed that Marcus Beher was travelling southbound on County Road 300 West when his vehicle veered off the road and collided with a tree head-on. Tragically, Beher was pronounced dead at the scene by the Wabash County Coroner. He was the sole occupant of the vehicle at the time of the crash.
