WARREN COUNTY, Ky. (WKRN) — A tragic incident occurred on Friday night in Southern Kentucky, as a driver lost his life in a collision between his SUV and a tree, according to officials.
The Warren County Sheriff’s Office responded to the tragic incident, which took place in the 7600 block of Woodburn Allen Springs Road just before 10 p.m. on Friday, June 14.
Upon arrival at the scene, deputies found CPR in progress, but unfortunately, the driver, identified as 33-year-old James Edward Gregory from Bowling Green, was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no other occupants in the vehicle at the time of the collision.
Initial investigations suggest that Gregory’s 2013 Ford Edge was travelling westbound on Highway 240 when it veered off the right side of the road, crossed a yard, and collided with a tree.
