Local authorities were alerted to the shooting at approximately 10:35 a.m., prompting a swift response from Florida City police. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Bailey with a gunshot wound to the head. Despite immediate life-saving efforts, the teenager tragically succumbed to his injuries.
