Indore, Madhya Pradesh: A joyous occasion turned into a heartbreaking tragedy for a newly married couple in Indore. The couple’s happiness was shattered when a fatal accident took the life of the young bride, leaving her family and loved ones in shock and disbelief.

The incident took place on MR 10 Road in the Vijay Nagar police circle late Thursday night. A 28-year-old woman, identified as Aishwarya Verma, was riding her two-wheeler back home when she collided with the open door of a cab parked on the main road. Despite being rushed to a nearby private hospital, Aishwarya succumbed to her injuries upon arrival.

Initial investigations revealed that the cab driver had carelessly opened the front door of his vehicle while parked on the roadside. The collision occurred as Aishwarya was approaching from behind, unable to avoid the unexpected obstacle. The driver claimed that he had run out of fuel and was pushing the car with the door open while steering with his hands.

Aishwarya, a resident of Veena Nagar, had been married to Shubham Panwar for just four months. The couple, both IT engineers working in Pune, had come to Indore to visit Shubham’s family. The tragic accident occurred as Aishwarya was returning home after an evening out with friends at Meghdoot Chaupati.

Shubham, who was following Aishwarya on another two-wheeler, witnessed the horrifying collision. He recounted how the cab driver’s open door caused Aishwarya to sustain severe head and nose injuries, ultimately leading to her untimely demise.

On the other hand, the cab driver, Shubham Verma, maintained that he was only trying to push his vehicle due to running out of fuel, with no intention of causing harm. He narrowly avoided being struck himself as Aishwarya crashed into the door.

The police have initiated a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident. Following the completion of the post-mortem examination, Aishwarya’s body was released to her grieving family for final rites.
