A woman from Murfreesboro, Arkansas, has recently been arrested on drug-related charges. The incident took place on Saturday, June 1st, when officers from the Murfreesboro Police Department responded to a call at the Pine-View Apartments. The complaint involved a crystal-like substance found in a pack of Montego Red cigarettes.
According to reports, a resident of the apartments informed the officers that a man and a woman had visited her and given her a pack of cigarettes. After finishing the pack, she discovered a cellophane wrapper containing a crystal-like substance at the bottom. The male individual was identified as David Fugitt, while the female suspect was identified as 69-year-old Paula Marie Hill.
On the following Tuesday, June 4th, Officer Mackenzie Vermillion encountered Hill at the corner of the Gypsy Underground parking lot and West 13th Street. After obtaining permission to search her bags, Vermillion discovered a glass pipe with a white residue and a glass cylinder with a metal cap containing a crystal-like substance. Subsequently, Hill was placed under arrest and taken to the Pike County Detention Facility.
Paula Marie Hill has been charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. The investigation into the matter is ongoing, and the Murfreesboro Police Department is working diligently to ensure the safety and well-being of the community.
