June 14—A man and woman from Pulaski County, along with two juveniles, have been arrested on drug-related charges following a search conducted by the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office.
The investigation was initiated after the Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division received intelligence regarding the distribution of a significant amount of marijuana from a residence on Dewey Poynter Road. Detectives launched a thorough investigation, which led to the procurement of a search warrant.
On the afternoon of Friday, June 7, deputies executed the search warrant at the residence. Michelle Price, a 35-year-old woman from Somerset, was found on the porch and informed of the purpose of the search. Price mentioned that her children and firearms were inside the residence.
As law enforcement officials attempted to control the situation, a juvenile female emerged and began to resist the deputies. A juvenile male also displayed aggressive behaviour by brandishing a knife towards the deputies. Despite the tense situation, deputies managed to subdue the juveniles and secure the premises.
During the search of the residence, deputies uncovered a significant number of firearms in the living room, where the juveniles were initially located. Additionally, a package containing over 12 pounds of marijuana was discovered.
A locked shed on the property was also searched, revealing an indoor grow room with seven marijuana plants, as well as processed marijuana, seeds, scales, and other drug-related paraphernalia. Furthermore, five growing marijuana plants were found in the outdoor area.
As deputies were processing the scene, a vehicle driven by Robert Price entered the driveway. A search of the vehicle yielded additional firearms and marijuana, as well as a substantial amount of cash on Robert Price’s person.

Robert Price was taken into custody and charged with:

- Cultivating Marijuana (5 plants or more), First Offense (Enhanced by Firearm)
- Drug Paraphernalia — Buy/Possess (Enhanced by Firearm)

- Cultivating Marijuana (5 plants or more), First Offense (Enhanced by Firearm)
- Resisting Arrest
- Drug Paraphernalia — Buy/Possess (Enhanced by Firearm)
The juvenile female was charged with:
- Third-Degree Assault — Police Officer or Probation Officer
- Resisting Arrest
- Third-Degree Criminal Mischief
The juvenile male faced charges of:
- Third-Degree Assault — Police Officer or Probation Officer (Attempt)
- Menacing
Michelle and Robert Price were taken to the Pulaski County Detention Center, while the juveniles were handed over to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office for further processing with the Court Designated Worker (CDW).
The investigation is ongoing under the supervision of Detective Lieutenant Daryl Kegley. The Narcotics Division received assistance from the Patrol Division, Somerset/Pulaski EMS, DBCS, and the CDW’s Office in executing the search warrant.
