Accident – Death – Obituary News :
A man has been taken into custody in relation to the fatal shooting that took place at a gas station in Pulaski, Virginia, back in May. The Pulaski Police Department has confirmed that Brandon Lee Mattox has been arrested in Columbus, Ohio, and is now facing a second-degree murder charge in connection with the incident.
The tragic event unfolded on May 24 at the Speedway located at 640 E. Main Street in Pulaski. Authorities responded to reports of a shooting and discovered a 40-year-old man, identified as Howard Laron Love from Pulaski, with a gunshot wound in the parking lot. Love was rushed to LewisGale Pulaski Hospital in critical condition but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
Upon further investigation, it was determined that Mattox was the prime suspect in the case. He is currently being held at the Fairfield County Jail in Ohio awaiting further legal proceedings.
