FRESNO, Calif. – A shocking incident unfolded at the Fresno County Superior Courthouse on Thursday morning when a man was arrested for allegedly throwing a rock at the building, causing damage to the front door. The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office swiftly responded to the scene.
Arrest Made
The suspect has been identified as 44-year-old Hector Sanchez of Fresno. According to deputies, the incident occurred at around 6:30 a.m. Sanchez hurled a rock at the front door of the Superior Courthouse, causing the glass to shatter. A witness promptly informed deputies of the suspect’s whereabouts.
Law enforcement officers were able to locate and apprehend Sanchez near the Sisk Courthouse, just a few blocks away from the scene of the crime at the intersection of O and Fresno Streets.
