A 17-year-old boy by the name of Brandon Alexander Francis is currently wanted for aggravated assault in connection to a shooting incident that took place on Monte Carlo Drive in Augusta. The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office has issued a news release stating that Francis should be considered armed and dangerous.

The incident occurred just after midnight on Sunday, when deputies responded to a report of shots fired at the Sprint Food Store on Peach Orchard Road. Upon arrival, they discovered a 21-year-old man who had been shot and was being taken to a nearby hospital.

Further investigations led deputies to a home on Monte Carlo Drive, where they found spent casings in the road in front of the house. Blood was also found at the scene, indicating that a violent altercation had taken place.
