Accident – Death – Obituary News :

A Nashville pizza shop delivery driver has been arrested after allegedly sexually assaulting a customer, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.

Incident Details

The incident took place on March 27 when the victim, who had ordered food from Caesar’s Italian Pizza via Uber Eats, was contacted by the restaurant. Instead of an Uber Eats driver, the restaurant sent its own delivery driver, identified as 43-year-old Sadriddin Azizov.

Upon arriving at the victim’s apartment, Azizov informed her that he was unable to access the building and requested that she come outside to retrieve her food. When she did so, he handed her half of her order and then asked to take a photo with her. The victim initially agreed but changed her mind when Azizov tried to take a picture.

As the victim’s hands were occupied with the food, Azizov allegedly grabbed her breast before fleeing the scene. Following an investigation and a photo lineup, Azizov was identified as the suspect and subsequently charged with sexual battery.

Legal Action

Azizov was arrested on Wednesday and has been charged with sexual battery. He is currently being held in jail on a $5,000 bond as of Thursday morning.
