SUWANEE, Ga. – Two individuals have been apprehended by authorities in Suwanee after being stopped at a traffic checkpoint with stolen jewellery and designer handbags in their possession. The incident took place on June 1, when officers from the Suwanee Police Department intercepted a vehicle and the occupants attempted to flee the scene. Two suspects, namely 43-year-old Robinsson Perez Chaparro and 23-year-old Ronald Alexander Pulido, were successfully apprehended and taken into custody.
Discovery of Stolen Goods
Upon conducting a search of the vehicle, detectives uncovered a significant amount of cash, jewellery, designer handbags, tools, and even a passport. This discovery prompted investigators to trace the items back to a residence on Hillcrest Drive that had fallen victim to a burglary earlier that same evening.
Surveillance Footage Unveiled
During the investigation at the targeted home, authorities also stumbled upon a surveillance camera. Analysis of the footage retrieved from the camera revealed a continuous monitoring of the victim’s property and driveway for over a week leading up to the robbery. The suspects had retrieved the camera following the burglary.

Legal Ramifications
Chaparro and Pulido have been charged with a range of offences including first-degree burglary, unlawful surveillance, prowling, obstruction, theft by taking, and possession of tools for the commission of a crime. Authorities suspect that the victim, who remains unnamed, was specifically targeted due to their status as a business owner.
