The suspects, identified as Marcos Guerrero, Elijah Gafare, Cynthia Leal, and Vincent Solarez, are believed to have ties to gangs in the Inland Empire and are allegedly responsible for a string of home invasions, assaults, and extortions targeting local business owners.

The incident occurred on March 12 when the suspects forcibly entered a residence on the 18000 block of Valley Boulevard in Bloomington around 3 a.m. The victims, a man and a woman, were awoken at gunpoint by the suspects. The male victim was physically assaulted and struck with a firearm, while the female victim was held captive. The suspects made off with approximately $12,500 in cash, as well as the hard drive containing footage from the home’s surveillance cameras and the victims’ vehicle.

Following the robbery, the male victim contacted law enforcement for assistance and was subsequently taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
