The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is currently investigating a tragic incident that occurred on Tuesday in the unincorporated area of Upper Marlboro, Maryland. The victim has been identified as 51-year-old Malcolm Hayes from Upper Marlboro.

At approximately 9:45 pm on June 11, 2024, authorities received a report of a collision at the intersection of Woodyard Road and Perrywood Road. Upon arrival, emergency responders found Hayes lying in the road. Tragically, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to preliminary investigations, Hayes was riding his motorcycle when he collided with a car in the northbound lanes of Woodyard Road. Another driver, travelling southbound, was also involved in the incident. Fortunately, both drivers escaped without any injuries and cooperated with the authorities.
