Medina County, Ohio – In a devastating incident, two teenagers lost their lives in a single-car crash in Medina County. The Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) reported that the fatal accident occurred on TR 40, where a 2010 Hyundai was travelling northbound.
According to the preliminary investigation by OSHP, the vehicle veered off the right side of the road, then overcorrected and went off the left side, leading to a tragic sequence of events. The car collided with a ditch and a street sign before overturning and ultimately striking a tree.
Tragically, both occupants of the vehicle, identified as 18-year-old Dale Wurgler and 18-year-old Alex Limas, residents of Chippewa Lake, succumbed to their injuries at the scene of the crash.
The authorities have launched a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident. While the investigation is ongoing, initial reports suggest that speed may have been a contributing factor in the crash.
