Accident – Death – Obituary News : ST. LANDRY PARISH, La. (KLFY)– Two women have been taken into custody following a search warrant executed at the Green Spa in Opelousas. The St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office received several complaints alleging that the women working at the establishment were involved in illicit activities.

Sheriff Bobby J. Guidroz stated, “Over the past few months, we have received numerous complaints from concerned citizens regarding the operations at Green Spa located at 628 Creswell Lane in Opelousas, Louisiana. These complaints indicated that female employees were engaging in sexual acts in exchange for money.”

In response to these allegations, law enforcement officials conducted a search at the Green Spa and arrested two individuals identified as 44-year-old Xiaoxia Li, also known as Yuang Yong, and 55-year-old Luyanxing Couras. While a male individual was questioned at the scene, he was later released.

The investigation revealed that the women were operating the massage parlor as a front for a prostitution ring. Notably, an ATM was strategically placed in the spa’s lobby to facilitate cash transactions for the illegal activities. The St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office emphasized that the suspects were not cooperative during the investigation and claimed to have limited proficiency in English.

Both women are facing charges of money laundering, operating a place of prostitution, and inciting prostitution. Their bonds have been set at $10,000 each, and they have since been released on bond following their arrests.
