Accident – Death – Obituary News :

In a heartbreaking turn of events, the body of 4-year-old Waeys Mohamed, who was autistic and nonverbal, was discovered in a creek in Minnesota after he wandered away from his apartment in Hopkins.

The tragic news was confirmed by Police Capt. Craig Kreiling at a press conference held at the Hopkins Fire Department, with over 100 community members in attendance.

According to Kreiling, initial investigations suggest that Waeys’ death was the result of an accidental drowning. However, authorities are committed to conducting a thorough investigation in collaboration with their partners to determine the exact cause of his untimely passing.

Waeys went missing on a Sunday morning after he wandered off from his apartment. After an extensive search effort, his lifeless body was discovered in the Minnehaha Creek, approximately 500 yards away from his residence, the following day.

“Our evidence indicates that Waeys left his apartment of his own volition. At this stage, there is no indication of any external blame. This is a tragic accident, as far as our investigations have revealed,” stated Kreiling.

Heartbroken family friends have initiated a GoFundMe page to support Waeys’ family in covering the expenses for his funeral.
