Randolph White : “Stolen Vehicle Chase Ends in Arrest – 102.3 KRMG”

A man is currently in police custody following a high-speed chase that began in Tulsa and ended in another county after nearly an hour and a half.

Law enforcement agencies from multiple jurisdictions were involved in the pursuit that ultimately led to the apprehension of 39-year-old Randolph White.

The incident began when Tulsa Police officers identified a stolen vehicle, a Tahoe, in the vicinity of 56th Street North and Peoria around 5 p.m. on Tuesday.

Despite police attempts to pull the vehicle over, the driver, later identified as White, chose to accelerate and drop off a passenger before heading onto Highway 75.

Subsequently, White accelerated and initiated a chase with law enforcement officers, prompting the involvement of the TPD helicopter to monitor the situation from above.

As the pursuit extended beyond Tulsa city limits, additional agencies joined in the effort to stop the fleeing vehicle. Eventually, stop sticks were employed to immobilize the stolen SUV, causing it to spin out near 320 Road and 4240 Road.

Approximately an hour and a half after the chase commenced, White was taken into custody by authorities from Rogers County and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

White now faces charges of possession of a stolen vehicle and eluding law enforcement. Meanwhile, the passenger involved in the incident has been arrested by Tulsa Police for joyriding.
