A man has been taken into custody following a high-speed chase that spanned multiple counties in Oklahoma. The pursuit, which lasted nearly an hour and a half, began in Tulsa and ended in another county, resulting in the arrest of 39-year-old Randolph White.

The incident unfolded when Tulsa Police officers identified a stolen vehicle, a Tahoe, in the vicinity of 56th Street North and Peoria at approximately 5 p.m. on Tuesday. Despite attempts to pull over the vehicle, the driver, later identified as White, refused to stop and instead slowed down to allow a passenger to exit the vehicle before accelerating onto Highway 75.

Law enforcement officers initiated a pursuit, but eventually terminated it as White continued to evade capture. Witnesses reported seeing the Tulsa Police Department helicopter assisting in the search for the suspect.

As the chase extended beyond Tulsa city limits, additional agencies joined the effort to apprehend the fleeing individual. Spike strips were deployed to halt the stolen SUV, which eventually spun out near 320 Road and 4240 Road.

Ultimately, it was the combined efforts of Rogers County and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol that led to White’s arrest, bringing the dramatic pursuit to an end. White now faces charges of possession of a stolen vehicle and eluding, while the passenger in the vehicle was arrested for joyriding.

FOX23 News is continuing to investigate the incident and will provide updates as more information becomes available.
