Kritsana Charunrak : “Teen worker stabbed in jealous rage at 7-Eleven”

A horrifying incident unfolded at a 7-Eleven store in Jomtien Complex, Pattaya, as a teenage convenience store worker was brutally stabbed in a jealous rage. The victim, 19-year-old Kritsana Charunrak, was left bleeding and terrified after being attacked by a 16-year-old teenager driven by suspicion and fury.

The attack occurred while Kritsana was on duty behind the counter at the convenience store. In a sudden and violent outburst, the attacker, identified as Jiranawat, leapt over the counter and stabbed Kritsana in the shoulder before fleeing the scene.

Police, led by Police Captain Chonlawit Athiphansi, Deputy Inspector of Pattaya City Police, swiftly apprehended Jiranawat. During interrogation, the teenager confessed to the crime, revealing that his actions were motivated by jealousy. Jiranawat believed that Kritsana was secretly communicating with his girlfriend, triggering his violent and impulsive response.

Further investigations unveiled that Jiranawat had been harbouring suspicions for some time before deciding to confront Kritsana. The tragic tale of teenage jealousy escalating into a life-altering crime serves as a stark reminder of the dangers of unchecked emotions.

Jiranawat now faces legal repercussions for his actions, while Kritsana is in the process of recovering from his injuries and coming to terms with the emotional trauma inflicted by the attack.

In a separate incident in the eastern province of Prachin Buri, a Chinese man attacked a Thai waiter with a knife for intervening in a sexual assault on a female party entertainer at a restaurant. The violent altercation was captured on video and shared on social media.

Additionally, in Chon Buri, a woman fatally stabbed her husband after enduring years of domestic violence and abuse. The woman, who reached a breaking point, made no attempt to flee and surrendered to the authorities.
