Bhosari, 12th June 2024: In a heartbreaking turn of events reminiscent of the recent Kondhwa Katraj road incident, a 3-year-old boy met a tragic end after drowning in a stagnant water-filled pit in Pimpri Chinchwad. The incident, which occurred on Monday afternoon at approximately 2:30 PM, has left the local community in shock and mourning.
The young victim, identified as Ganesh Balaji Manjalwar, was playing in the front yard of his residence when the unfortunate accident took place. Ganesh accidentally fell into a pit that had accumulated rainwater, leading to the devastating outcome. Upon witnessing the distressing situation, the children playing alongside Ganesh promptly alerted his mother, who rushed to the scene and managed to pull him out of the pit.
Despite the swift actions taken by his mother and the immediate transfer to a nearby hospital, Ganesh tragically succumbed to the incident. Medical professionals at the hospital pronounced him dead upon his arrival, leaving the family and the community reeling from the loss of such a young life.
The Bhosari Police have initiated an investigation into the matter, registering a case of Accidental Death (AD) following the tragic drowning incident. The authorities are working diligently to ascertain the circumstances that led to the untimely demise of Ganesh, offering support and guidance to the grieving family during this difficult period.
