Authorities in Lynchburg have apprehended two suspects accused of breaking into the Venue Cinemas on June 11, according to the Lynchburg Police Department (LPD).
Shortly before 4:00 a.m., law enforcement officers responded to a security alarm at the movie theatre located on Lakeside Drive. Upon arrival, evidence of a burglary was discovered at the scene.
After reviewing surveillance footage, investigators identified the culprits as Christopher Alan Mason, 43, and Bryan William Watkins, 41. Both individuals were subsequently taken into custody and charged with Breaking and Entering with the Intent to Commit Larceny.
