The tragic incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. at a residence located near the intersection of 12th and Garfield streets. Upon arrival at the scene, police discovered 37-year-old Tracy Walker suffering from gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Phoenix police swiftly took 24-year-old Clayveion Hendrix into custody in connection with the shooting. During initial questioning, Hendrix reportedly confessed to his involvement in the crime. He has since been charged with murder and is being held in jail pending further legal proceedings.
