Accident – Death – Obituary News :
Tragedy struck on Tuesday morning in eastern Kosciusko County, as a Larwill woman lost her life in a devastating crash at the intersection of US-30 and County Road 900 East.
Details of the Accident
The incident occurred at approximately 10:50 a.m. when a Nissan Murano travelling south on County Road 900 East failed to yield and crossed into the path of an eastbound Freightliner Semi.
Regrettably, one of the passengers in the Nissan, identified as 26-year-old Magdalynn Wood of Larwill, succumbed to her injuries at the scene of the crash.
Additionally, a 50-year-old man from Larwill who was seated in the front of the vehicle sustained internal injuries and was airlifted to the hospital. His current condition remains unknown.
The driver of the Nissan, a 21-year-old woman from Larwill, suffered a broken arm and was transported to the hospital via ambulance for further treatment.
Fortunately, the driver of the semi-truck, a 57-year-old man from Chicago, escaped unscathed from the collision.
