Larry Christopher Baker : Man Shot in Macon, GA; Suspect Detained

A male suspect has been apprehended by authorities following the discovery of a 59-year-old individual who had sustained gunshot wounds in Macon on Monday, as reported by the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

The victim was located in a critical condition after being found with gunshot injuries close to 900 Hillcrest Blvd. at approximately 3 p.m., according to the sheriff’s office. The victim was swiftly transported to a medical facility and is currently in a stable but critical state, the sheriff’s office confirmed on Monday evening.

Following a thorough investigation, Larry Christopher Baker, aged 35, was identified as the suspect, the sheriff’s office revealed. Baker was situated at a residence near 3400 Senandoah Drive and subsequently surrendered to law enforcement. A firearm was also recovered at the property during the arrest.

The suspect, Baker, has been charged with aggravated assault and was remanded in custody without bail, the sheriff’s office disclosed.
