NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Authorities apprehended a 35-year-old woman, Katherine Craner, at the Nashville International Airport on Monday as she was preparing to board a flight. Craner, who was wanted on two felony drug warrants with nationwide extradition from Jefferson County, Colorado, was intercepted by officers before she could depart on an American Airlines flight.
Information from court documents revealed that officials had received a tip-off about Craner’s travel plans, prompting them to take action at BNA. Craner’s intended destination was Europe, but her journey was abruptly interrupted by law enforcement.
Upon identification using her driver’s license and passport, Craner was promptly arrested at Gate C16. She was charged with being a fugitive from justice and is currently being held at the Metro jail. A bond of $250,000 has been set for her release.
