Accident – Death – Obituary News :

A teenager from Connecticut was taken into custody on Tuesday for allegedly breaking into a marina in Norwalk back in May and stealing items from docked boats, according to local police.

Incident Details

On May 17, two individuals reportedly scaled the fence at Cove Marina in Norwalk to gain entry to the docks. The suspects then proceeded to break into two boats that were docked at the marina, making off with tools and alcohol, as per the Norwalk Police Department.

Law enforcement officers were able to obtain video footage and other evidence that linked this incident to a similar burglary at a marina in Fairfield. It was during this investigation that 19-year-old Christopher McClain, from Redding, was identified as a suspect in the Fairfield case.

Arrest and Charges

Following surveillance efforts, Norwalk police positively identified McClain as the individual involved in the marina burglary. An arrest warrant was subsequently issued, and McClain was apprehended at his residence without any issues.

McClain now faces charges of third-degree burglary, third-degree criminal trespass, and fifth-degree larceny. He is currently being held on a bail amount of £25,000 and is scheduled to make a court appearance in Stamford on June 25.
