Accident – Death – Obituary News :

A man who stands accused of committing a double murder during a birthday celebration inside a tax office has been apprehended and is now incarcerated in the Orange County jail. Christopher Haynes, aged 31, made an appearance in court on Tuesday, June 11, to answer to charges related to the deaths of two individuals that occurred in late March. He has been remanded in custody without the possibility of bail.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office disclosed that the incident unfolded during a birthday party held at a tax office situated on Pine Hills Road in close proximity to Silver Star Road. Authorities have revealed that the office was being utilised as an after-hours club where alcohol was served.

The victims have been identified as Joslyn Gray and Errol Irving. According to investigators, Haynes and Gray had a history of violent altercations, with Gray having been previously arrested for allegedly shooting Haynes approximately a year prior to the fatal incident. Haynes had only recently been released from jail before the tragic shooting at the tax office.

The arrest report indicates that there is no evidence to suggest that Haynes had intended to target Irving, the second victim. The report states, “Irving was standing behind the victim and appeared to have been shot accidentally.”

Following the shooting, Haynes managed to escape but was eventually apprehended in Tennessee towards the end of May before being transported back to Orange County to face justice.
