Amidst the pandemonium, an off-duty Atlanta police officer bravely intervened and neutralised the armed suspect, bringing an end to the violent rampage, revealed Atlanta Police Chief Darin Schierbaum. Fortunately, all the wounded victims are reported to be in stable condition, conscious, and breathing.

The injured parties have been identified as a 47-year-old man, a 69-year-old woman, and a 70-year-old woman, all of whom were caught in the crossfire of the shooting incident. The suspect’s weapon has been recovered by authorities, who disclosed that the individual had a criminal history involving armed robbery and should not have been in possession of a firearm.

Chief Schierbaum condemned the suspect’s actions, stating, “This is a person who should never have owned a gun,” highlighting the need for stricter gun control measures to prevent such tragic incidents in the future.

As the investigation into the shooting continues, this remains a developing story. Stay tuned for further updates as more information unfolds.
