LINDSAY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Authorities in Lindsay have arrested a convicted felon for allegedly possessing 40 boxes of live ammunition and mail stolen from homes in Tulare County, the Lindsay Police Department reported.

Suspicious Activity Reported

On Monday, at approximately 4 a.m., law enforcement received a report of a suspicious individual in the incorporated county area near Exeter, specifically around Myer Drive and Road 228. The individual, driving a red Honda Accord, was spotted peering into parked vehicles, raising concerns among residents.

Arrest and Discovery

While conducting routine patrols, an officer noticed the red Honda Accord entering the city near Hickory Street and Parkside Avenue. The driver, identified as 41-year-old Aisai See, was found to have an active warrant from Tulare County for being under the influence of a controlled substance, leading to his arrest.

Upon searching the vehicle, authorities uncovered a .22LR rifle and a .357 Magnum revolver, with the latter being reported stolen previously. Additionally, See, a convicted felon, was found in possession of over 40 boxes of live ammunition and mail stolen from various homes in the area.

Drug-related Charges

Further investigations revealed that See was under the influence of a controlled substance and in possession of drug paraphernalia. As a result, he was taken into custody and transported to the Tulare County Jail to face multiple charges.
