According to reports by The Indian Express, Goyal’s family believes that his death may have been a case of mistaken identity. The Canadian police’s Integrated Homicide Investigation Team confirmed that Goyal had no criminal record, raising questions about the motive behind the tragic event.
Following the incident, the Canadian authorities swiftly took action, arresting four suspects in connection with the murder. The individuals, identified as Manvir Basram (23), Sahib Basra (20), Harkirat Jhutty (20), and Keilon Francois (20), have been charged with first-degree murder.
