Authorities from the Roseburg Police Department apprehended a 27-year-old woman on Friday for her suspected involvement in a prior theft incident. The incident reportedly took place at a business located in the 1600 block of Northeast Stephens Street.
According to an official report from the RPD, the woman was identified as the primary suspect in the theft of a wallet from inside the aforementioned business premises. The arrest took place at approximately 1:50 p.m. during which the woman confessed to stealing the wallet and subsequently passing it on to an acquaintance.
Following the admission of guilt, the woman was formally charged with third-degree theft by law enforcement officials. Subsequently, a bail amount of £1,250 was set for her release from custody.
