Playa del Carmen, Q.R. – A 26-year-old man from the state of Tlaxcala, identified as Eduardo “N”, was apprehended on Monday at a Playacar hotel in Playa del Carmen following reports of inappropriate behaviour towards two young girls and one adult woman.
The incident took place at the pool area of the hotel, where the accused allegedly touched an 11-year-old girl, a 9-year-old girl, and an adult female, prompting a call to the authorities.
Arrest and Charges
After receiving the report, the Citizen Security of Solidaridad (SSC) took swift action and arrested Eduardo “N” on charges of sexual abuse. The SSC confirmed the arrest of the suspect at the Playacar Phase II complex in Playa del Carmen.
Seguridad Ciudadana Solidaridad (SSC) stated, “In response to a distress call, the Solidaridad Municipal Police apprehended an individual for the alleged commission of sexual abuse against two minors at a hotel in the Playacar Phase II complex.”
“Tourist Police officers responded to the scene where the victims identified Eduardo “N” as the individual who had inappropriately touched them in the pool area of the hotel. The suspect was promptly detained and handed over to the State Attorney General’s Office for further investigation.”
