Tragically, Daniel Shouse of Carrollton, the operator of one of the vehicles, sustained a fatal gunshot wound inflicted by the driver of the other vehicle. Carroll County’s coroner arrived at the scene and pronounced Shouse dead, with his next of kin duly notified by the authorities.
