Bionca Ellis : “Julian Wood Murder Suspect at Giant Eagle”

32-year-old Bionca Ellis, a Cleveland woman accused of killing 3-year-old Julian Wood in a double stabbing outside of a Giant Eagle in North Olmsted, is set to appear before a judge on multiple charges at 8:30 a.m. today.

Ellis has been indicted on several charges, including:

• One count of aggravated murder
• Two counts of murder
• Two counts of attempted murder
• Two counts of felonious assault
• One count of endangering children
• One count of tampering with evidence
• One count of misdemeanor theft

According to North Olmsted police, the incident occurred just after 3 p.m. on Monday, June 3, when Julian and his mother, 38-year-old Margot Wood, were stabbed in the parking lot of the Giant Eagle on Lorain Road.

Both victims were taken to the hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, Julian succumbed to his injuries, while Margot is expected to make a full recovery.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers found the suspect, identified as Ellis, walking towards Dover Center Road with a knife in hand. She was apprehended without resistance.

Authorities have indicated that this tragedy appears to be a random act of violence, as Ellis had no prior interactions with the victims before the stabbing.

A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to support Julian’s family. The initiative had raised over $115,000 by last Wednesday morning and exceeded $242,000 by June 10.
