Accident – Death – Obituary News : The Greenwood Police Department in South Carolina is currently on the lookout for a suspect in connection with a tragic homicide in the city of Greenwood. Authorities were alerted to the situation on a Saturday afternoon, around 1:30 p.m., when they received a distress call regarding a shooting incident at a residence on Oakhill Street. Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered a man who had sustained a gunshot wound to the head. The victim, later identified as 36-year-old Tarrence Robinson, was swiftly transported to Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood, where he tragically succumbed to his injuries.

Further investigation revealed that the victim and the suspect were known to each other prior to the incident. Allegedly, the suspect drew a firearm and fatally shot Robinson, according to information provided by the Greenwood Police Department. Subsequently, an arrest warrant has been issued for the apprehension of 40-year-old Tony Matthew Landron, who is currently considered to be “armed and dangerous”. Landron is wanted on charges of Murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, as per the authorities.

Described in a previous arrest record from January, Landron is said to be 6 feet tall, weighing 160 pounds, with brown eyes. The Greenwood Police Department has issued a warning to the public, urging anyone who may come across Landron not to approach him, but instead to immediately contact emergency services by dialing 911.
